Bangor > Bed & Breakfast (B&B) > The Joys of Life

We feel privileged to live in this area of outstanding natural beauty and we welcome like-minded guests to share the experience with us. We have a 12 acre site that contains a meadow, ornamental gardens, a lake and a woodland walk, with bird-hide. A ten minute walk along a forest trail takes one to the village of Bethesda. We can accommodate guests in twin bed, double bed or family rooms all with toilet and shower-rooms en-suite and dedicated modern TVs and tea-making facilities. The location of the property in the Ogwen valley of central Snowdonia gives easy access to areas of mountain walking, rock climbing, abseiling, mountain biking and the longest zip wire in Europe. Tree-tops high rope walks, old mine workings that can be explored and opportunities for canoeing are also in the area. The North Wales cycle track passes close by. The beaches, coastal walks, sea excursions, sea fishing and the motor-racing circuit of Anglesey are not far away, as are historic castles, National Trust properties, the pilgrim's way to Bardsey and prehistoric sites. The area is a paradise for railway enthusiasts as the Ffestiniog, Welsh Highland, Snowdon Mountain and Llanberis Lake railways are all around. The area is also good for geo-caching.
